Hello
Angela J. Gray (she/her) is an emerging Black writer and visual artist living in Vancouver, BC. Her training as a community addictions counsellor and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion facilitator is a valuable resource to her writing and creative work.
Her Story
Angela writes about race, equity and the impact of colonization on all peoples of Canada. She offers a unique perspective on children of the African/Caribbean diaspora adopted into white families, a part of Canadian history that is not well documented. Angela is a graduate of Vancouver Manuscript Intensive (VMI) and a Canada Council for the Arts - Explore and Create - grant recipient (2022).
